Overview
Ninja Kamui is an original Japanese anime television series that debuted in the United States in February 2024. Produced by E&H Production and Sola Entertainment, the show aired on the Toonami programming block of Adult Swim. The series was directed by Sunghoo Park and features executive assistance from Williams Street. The narrative follows Joe Higan, a former ninja who has escaped his clan and fled into rural America. After a team of assassins ambushes Joe and his family to exact retribution for his betrayal of their ancient code, he is presumed dead. Joe eventually re-emerges as his former persona, Ninja Kamui, to seek vengeance against the clan responsible for the murder of his wife and son. In his quest to bring down the organization, he becomes united with FBI agents who are conducting their own investigation into the murders.
