Ninjala the Animation 2022

Overview

Ninjala the Animation is an anime television series based on the video game of the same name. The series premiered on January 8, 2022, on TV Tokyo and is produced by OLM. The story follows a main cast of eight characters named Van, Berecca, Ron, Lucy, Burton, Emma, Kappei, and Jane. These characters attend WNA Academy and perform missions as ninjas. The narrative begins after three researchers spend years of experimentation to create a substance known as Ninja-Gum. This substance is capable of awakening dormant power within individuals who are descended from ninjas. However, the creation of this substance carries consequences and eventually leads the characters to participate in the mysterious Ninjala Tournament. The series was directed by Mamoru Kanbe for the first sixty-three episodes, after which Nanako Shimazaki assumed the role of director starting with episode sixty-four. The voice cast includes Takahiro Sakurai, Akari Kito, Megumi Han, and Hiroki Yasumoto. The show is documented to have an active run spanning from 2022 through 2026.
