S22·E11 For Better or Worse

Episode recap

In the eleventh episode of the twenty-second season of NCIS, titled For Better or Worse, the Major Case Response Team stages a fake wedding for two of its own agents in an operational attempt to take down the mob.

As part of the long-running television series that follows a team of special agents investigating criminal cases connected to United States Navy and Marine Corps personnel and their families, this particular mission requires the agents to go undercover through the elaborate setup of a matrimonial ceremony. The overarching premise of the program continues to center on special agents handling cases ranging from murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines.

Because the provided source material is concise, further specific plot points, guest stars, and operational outcomes for the fake wedding mission remain unmentioned. The episode fits into the broader television franchise history that originated with back-door pilot episodes on the series JAG in April 2003 before establishing its own long-running broadcast run.
