Each episode concluded with a narrator stating, “There are eight million stories in the naked city,” reflecting the vast and varied experiences of life in New York. The series focused on the cases investigated by the N.Y.P.D.'s 65th Precinct and featured an ensemble cast including Paul Burke, Harry Bellaver, and Horace McMahon.
