Megas XLR is a television series that premiered in 2004. The show revolves around the life of Coop, an overweight individual who is described as a couch potato. Coop's life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers a giant robot in a junkyard. This robot was originally sent from the future, and it has undergone modifications by Coop, making him the only one capable of operating it. Coop's possession of the robot attracts the attention of an alien race known as the Glorft, prompting him to team up with Kiva and his friend Jamie to defend himself against their pursuit.
