Kokkoku: Moment by Moment 2018

Overview

Kokkoku: Moment by Moment is a 2018 television series categorized under animation, drama, mystery, and sci-fi and fantasy. The story follows a character named Juri and her family as they attempt to rescue her brother and nephew, who have been kidnapped by a mysterious religious group called the Genuine Love Society. To accomplish this, Juri and her family use a stone hidden by her grandfather to cast a spell that allows them to enter a parallel world of stopped time known as Stasis. Upon infiltrating the kidnapper base inside this realm, they encounter other individuals who are also able to move about freely, while grotesque creatures lurk within the stopped-time world. The television series features a cast that includes Chika Anzai, Kazuhiro Yamaji, and Ryuto Iwata. The property originates from a Japanese dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Seita Horio, which was serialized in Kodansha magazine from May 2008 to September 2015 across eight tankobon volumes.
