Overview

Kid vs. Kat is a Canadian animated television series that aired on YTV from October 25, 2008, until June 4, 2011. The show was created and co-directed by Rob Boutilier and developed and produced at Studio B Productions, which is a subsidiary of DHX Media. The series features voice performances by Erin Mathews, Kathleen Barr, Trevor Devall, and Cathy Weseluck. The plot follows ten-year-old Coop Burtonburger, whose life changes when his little sister, Millie, brings home a stray cat. In reality, this creature is an evil cybernetic alien in disguise. Coop finds himself in a difficult position because his family and the rest of the world refuse to believe the truth about the pet. Only his best friend, Dennis, knows the cat is an evil mastermind. Consequently, Coop must risk his life daily to foil the alien's diabolical schemes while attempting to prove the true nature of the family pet. The series is also known by the stylized title KiD vs KaT.
