Overview
iZombie is a supernatural procedural drama television series that aired on the CW from 2015 to 2019. The show follows Olivia "Liv" Moore, a former medical student who becomes a zombie after a traumatic event. To maintain her humanity and survive, Liv joins a coroner's office to gain access to human brains, which she must consume to retain her mental faculties. Each brain she eats allows her to temporarily experience the memories of the deceased, compelling her to solve their deaths. With the help of a medical examiner and a police detective, Liv uses these inherited memories to assist in investigations. The series was developed by Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright and is based on the DC Comics series of the same name created by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred. It stars Rose McIver in the lead role and ran for five seasons.
