The setting for this pursuit by Hanover and his manager is Jim's supper club, which is named Holiday Inn. The film was directed by Mark Sandrich, who also served as producer, and features music by Irving Berlin. Screenplay adaptations were written by Claude Binyon and Elmer Rice, cinematography was handled by David Abel, and Ellsworth Hoagland served as the editor. The original distributor of the movie was Paramount Pictures.
