Overview
Gatchaman Crowds is a television series set in Tachikawa, Japan, a "second metropolis" of Tokyo. Tachikawa is protected by the Gatchaman, warriors who fight in special reinforced suits. The Gatchaman are powered by the manifestation of their spiritual powers called NOTE. The series follows the Gatchaman as they deal with Berg Katze, an enigmatic alien creature. Berg Katze is bent on destroying Earth, which it has done to several other planets in the past. The Gatchaman also welcome a new member, Hajime Ichinose, who is described as energetic and cheerful. The addition of Hajime Ichinose brings new dynamics to the team as they face the threat posed by Berg Katze.
