Overview Construction:
The sixth season of Game of Thrones follows the survivors from various parts of Westeros and Essos as they regroup after the developments at the conclusion of season five. These individuals move inexorably toward their uncertain individual fates. As the narrative progresses, familiar faces forge new alliances intended to bolster their strategic chances at survival. Simultaneously, new characters emerge to challenge the existing balance of power across the east, west, north, and south. This season takes place within a world where seven noble families fight for control of the mythical land of Westeros. Friction between these houses has led to full-scale war. While this conflict unfolds, a very ancient evil awakens in the farthest north. Amidst the ongoing war, the Night's Watch, a neglected military order of misfits, serves as the only thing standing between the realms of men and an icy horror. The series is an American fantasy drama created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss for HBO, based on the high fantasy novels A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R. Martin.
