Falling Skies is an American post-apocalyptic science fiction television series that premiered in 2011. The show was created by Robert Rodat and executive produced by Steven Spielberg. It stars Noah Wyle as Tom Mason, a former history professor who becomes a leader among survivors following an alien invasion that has devastated Earth's population. The series is set six months after the initial attack, with small groups of humans living outside major cities while attempting to resist the occupying alien forces.
