Dream One is a 1984 fantasy and adventure film directed by Arnaud Sélignac. The film is based on the comic strip created by Winsor McCay. The story follows a young boy who imagines himself within a tale he is about to hear. During this dream-like adventure, the protagonist travels through a magical world where he encounters various beings, including aliens, famous characters from other stories, and a beautiful princess. The cast features Seth Kibel as the child version of the character Nemo and Jason Connery as the teenage version of Nemo. Other cast members include Mathilda May as Alice, Nipsey Russell as Mr. Rip and Benjamin, Harvey Keitel as Mr. Legend, Dominique Pinon as Monkey, Carole Bouquet as Rals-Akrai, and Michel Blanc as Boris and Nemo's father. Additional roles are played by Katrine Boorman, Charley Boorman, and Gaëtan Bloom. The film has a runtime of one hour and thirty-seven minutes and was released in France on December 12, 1984.
