Overview
Devilman is a television series centered on a teenager named Akira Fudo. The story begins during a mountain climbing expedition in the Himalayas where Akira and his father are killed in a tragic accident. Following this event, Akira's body is discovered and possessed by a demon soldier known as Devilman. The entity adopts Akira's human form as a disguise to facilitate a mission of causing chaos on Earth, which is intended to prepare the planet for a full-scale demonic invasion. However, the narrative shifts before the mission fully commences when Devilman encounters Miki Makimura, a childhood friend of the deceased Akira. Upon meeting Miki, Devilman experiences a change in perspective and falls in love with her. As a result of these new feelings, the demon resolves to protect her.
