Overview

Blue Seed is a 1994 television series centered on a young woman named Momiji Fujimiya. The narrative begins as Japan faces a dangerous threat from creatures known as Aragami, which are spawned by the entity Yamato-no-Orochi. Momiji is a descendant of the mythical Princess Kushinada. According to ancient tradition, she is intended to be sacrificed as a means to appease the Aragami. Instead of meeting this fate, Momiji chooses a different path and joins the Terrestrial Administration Center. This organization operates as a secret agency dedicated to the defense of the nation. As a member of this group, Momiji works to combat the Aragami and protect the population from their influence.
