Cuéntame cómo pasó is a Spanish television series that originally ran on La 1 of Televisión Española. The show is also known as Remember When and is usually shortened to Cuéntame. It premiered on 13 September 2001 and ran for twenty-three seasons until 29 November 2023. The series tells the story of the Alcántaras, a family, during the last years of the rule of Francisco Franco and the beginning of the Spanish Transition to democracy. The evolution of the family is portrayed from the last days of the Frankist dictatorship to the early 1980s.
