Overview
Child's Play 2 is a 1990 film that continues the story of the doll known as Chucky. Following the events of the previous film, the toy factory attempts to reconstruct the doll in an effort to dispel the negative publicity that has surrounded the product. Despite these efforts to restore the reputation of the toy line, the doll remains a threat. Once reconstructed, Chucky begins to track down Andy Barclay. The young boy has been placed in a foster home, and the doll successfully locates him there. Upon finding the child, the chase begins again as the doll pursues Andy. The narrative focuses on this renewed pursuit as the toy seeks out the boy.
