In the episode Watery Grave - Part 2 of C.I.D., the forensic investigation of the victim's body reveals that the water inside his lungs is not rainwater, but tapwater, which is likely from a bathroom somewhere. During the course of the investigation, officers also find a bob in the man's hand that is commonly used as a clown's nose in a circus.

Meanwhile, Inspector Daksh experiences an accident in the mall when he falls down an escalator and becomes unconscious. When he regains consciousness, he discovers that his gun has been stolen. The episode follows the officers as they work to overcome these developments and solve the case.
