Synopsis
When the monsoon rains cause floods in Mumbai, dozens of bodies of people who have drowned are found by the CID. All the bodies get claimed by kin, except one, a man whose face has been severely facially deformed. A forensic investigation reveals that the body was bludgeoned to death and then thrown into the water with the others. How will CID identify this man and solve his murder? In the C.I.D. episode titled Watery Grave Part One, heavy monsoon rains cause severe floods across Mumbai. Amid the deluge, the C.I.D. recovers the bodies of dozens of drowning victims. While kin claim all of the other recovered corpses, one unclaimed body remains. Upon examination, forensics discover that this particular man has suffered severe facial deformities. Further investigation reveals that the victim was not a drowning victim at all; instead, he was bludgeoned to death before his body was thrown into the water alongside the others. The episode follows the C.I.D. as they begin their investigation to determine how they will identify this unknown man and ultimately solve the mystery of his murder.
