Overview
The television series "Bubblegum Crisis" is set in a futuristic city called MegaTokyo. The city was rebuilt after a major earthquake that left Tokyo in ruins. A multi-million dollar company, Genom Corp, played a significant role in the city's reconstruction. Genom created biomechanical creatures called Boomers to aid in the restoration of MegaTokyo. However, the Boomers began to malfunction and caused problems for the city's authorities. The ADPolice attempted to stop the Boomers, but they proved to be difficult to control. In response to the Boomer threat, a group of four girls from different backgrounds banded together.
