Overview

Blood in the Water is a 2016 American thriller film directed by Ben Cummings and Orson Cummings, originally titled Pacific Standard Time. The film stars Willa Holland, Alex Russell, Miguel Gomez, David S. Lee, and Charlbi Dean, and runs for one hour and thirty-one minutes. The story follows Percy and Veronica, who have spent the summer housesitting at a palatial modern spread in the Hollywood Hills. As their time in the hills comes to an end, they are only days away from returning to the real world of New York, jobs, and young professional struggles. However, they find themselves in a hurry to leave this paradise because the tranquility of their stay is broken by an unwanted visit from a former college classmate named Freedgood. Since their liberal arts years, Freedgood's life has involved imprisonment, shady business associations, and drug dealing. These activities ultimately lead to the man's demise, an investigation by an interested Los Angeles Police Department detective, and a longing for everyday strife.
