Overview
Blood+ is a Japanese anime television series that aired from 2005 to 2006. The show follows Saya Otonashi, a high school senior living in present-day Okinawa who suffers from amnesia and must uncover her past while combating chiropteran vampires that threaten her loved ones. Produced by Production I.G and Aniplex, the series was directed and written by Junichi Fujisaku. It originally aired on MBS and TBS networks. The series features an international cast of voice actors including Crispin Freeman, Eri Kitamura, Kari Wahlgren, and Katsuyuki Konishi. As the story progresses, Saya discovers more about her destiny and the source of the vampire threat with the help of her adoptive family and friends.
