Melahat Özgü Namal is a Turkish actress born on December 28, 1978, in Uskudar, Istanbul. Her paternal family consists of Turkish immigrants from North Macedonia. She began acting as a child at the Masal Gercek Theatre and graduated from the theater department of the State Conservatory of Istanbul University. She made her television debut in Affet Bizi Hocam and subsequently appeared in numerous television series, including Karete Can, Yeditepe Istanbul, Kurtlar Vadisi as Elif Eylul, Hanimin Ciftligi, Merhamet, and Red Roses. She made her film debut in Sir Cocuklari in 2002 and has since appeared in several other films.
