Biography
Yuko Goto, also known as Gotou Yuuko or Yūko Gotō, is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on August 28, 1975, in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. She formerly worked for Production Baobab and is also signed to Axl-One. Known for her acting credits, she has often been typecast into cute and vulnerable moe roles. In contrast to this on-screen typecasting, she is a devotee of biker culture in real life, dressing and acting accordingly when not working, right down to riding her own motorcycle. Her personal interest in biker culture was parodied in the twenty-third episode of Lucky Star, where she appeared as a masculine Bousouzoku styled caricature of herself named Gottouuza-sama. In June 2012, she announced that she suffers from idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura and systemic lupus erythematosus.
