Yoko Maki is a Japanese actress born on October 15, 1982, in Inzai, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. She made her film debut at the age of 19 in the 2001 film Drug. Maki has appeared in several films, including the 2003 film Infection and the 2004 American remake The Grudge. She also performed on stage in the 2002 play Cross. Maki's film career gained momentum with her role in the modernized remake of the Japanese vengeance film Lady Snowblood, later re-titled as The Princess Blade.
