Overview

Michiko & Hatchin is a 2008 animated television series following the journey of an unlikely pair through Brazil. The story centers on Hana, a nine-year-old girl living in fear of her abusive family, and Michiko, a woman who has recently escaped from the notorious Diamandra Penitentiary. When Michiko takes Hana under her wing, claiming to be her mother, the two embark on a dangerous adventure together.
