William David Daniels is an American actor born on March 31, 1927. He served as the president of the Screen Actors Guild from 1999 to 2001. Throughout his career, he has appeared in various film and television roles. His notable performances include playing Dustin Hoffman's father in The Graduate, portraying John Adams in 1776, and starring as Carter Nash in Captain Nice. On television, he is recognized for his role as Mr. George Feeny in Boy Meets World, the voice of KITT in Knight Rider, and Dr. Mark Craig in St. Elsewhere. For his work on St. Elsewhere, Daniels received two Emmy Awards.
