Veda Ann Borg was an American film actress born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 11, 1915. Her parents were Minna Noble and Gottfried Borg, a Swedish immigrant. She started her career as a model in 1936 and subsequently earned a contract at Paramount Pictures. Following a car crash in 1939, she underwent drastic facial reconstruction through plastic surgery. Over her career, she accumulated 119 known acting credits and appeared in more than one hundred films, among them Mildred Pierce, Chicken Every Sunday, Love Me or Leave Me, Guys and Dolls, Thunder in the Sun, and The Alamo in 1960. As television emerged, she began taking television roles and appeared on programs including Alfred Hitchcock Presents and General Electric Theater between 1952 and 1961. She passed away on August 16, 1973.
