Troye Sivan Mellet, born on June 5, 1995, in Johannesburg, South Africa, is an Australian actor, singer, and former YouTuber. In his acting career, he portrayed the younger Wolverine in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine and starred as the titular character in the Spud film trilogy. He appeared in a supporting acting role in the 2018 film Boy Erased, for which he also received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song for Revelation. His subsequent acting credits include starring in the 2022 film Three Months and appearing in the 2023 television series The Idol. In 2017, he became the youngest recipient of a GLAAD Stephen F. Kolzak Award.
