Andrew Scott Rannells is an American actor and singer born on August 23, 1978, in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended Creighton Preparatory School and briefly studied at Marymount Manhattan College. Rannells gained prominence for his portrayal of Elder Price in the 2011 Broadway musical The Book of Mormon, earning a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical. He won a Grammy Award in 2012 for Best Musical Theater Album as a featured soloist on The Book of Mormon's original Broadway cast recording. His additional Broadway credits include various productions, establishing him as a notable figure in musical theater.
