She was born in Busan, South Korea, on March 29, 1994, and passed away on October 14, 2019, at the age of twenty-five. Sulli first gained attention as a child actress, playing the young Princess Seonhwa of Silla in the SBS drama Ballad of Seodong in 2005. She later debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group f(x) in 2009, eventually leaving the group in 2015 to focus on her acting career. After a three-year hiatus, she resumed her music career with a feature on Dean's single Dayfly in 2018 and made her solo debut in June 2019 with the single album Goblin.
