Stefanie Christina Baroness von Pfetten is a Canadian film and television actress of German descent. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on November 25, 1973, she is the child of German emigrants and discovered her passion for performing early in life. As a teenager, she worked as a model and starred in her high school production of Grease. She subsequently pursued an education in Munich and Vienna, where she studied art history and completed an internship at Sotheby’s. Upon returning to Vancouver, she trained in theatre and quickly gained recognition for her guest roles on Canadian television, as well as leading parts in both Canadian and German films, before eventually relocating to Los Angeles.
