Stan Shaw is an American actor born in Chicago, Illinois. He is the son of Bertha Shaw and saxophonist Eddie Shaw. Shaw's early career involved acting in Broadway productions, including Hair and The Me Nobody Knows, and he also appeared in the Broadway production Via Galactica directed by Sir Peter Hall. Before becoming an actor, Shaw was a martial arts instructor in Chicago, holding black belt rankings in judo and jujutsu, and a second dan in karate. He is known for his acting credits, with a total of 70 known credits.
