Christy Shae Marks is an American model and actress born on June 1, 1972, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is of Cherokee, Irish, and French heritage. Marks spent the majority of her childhood in New Orleans before her family relocated to Peachtree City, Georgia, after her tenth birthday. During her high school years at McIntosh High School, she participated in soccer, tennis, swimming, and cheerleading. Following graduation, she attended the University of West Georgia to study journalism but eventually left the program and returned to New Orleans. She was discovered by Playboy at the age of 20 and was later featured as the magazine's Playmate of the Month for May 1994.
