Julie Strain was an actress born in Concord, California, on February 18, 1962, and she died on January 10, 2021, at the age of 58. She graduated from Diablo Valley College and possessed an athletic background. A severe head injury from a horse fall caused retrograde amnesia, wiping much of her youth from her memory. She later moved to Las Vegas and then Hollywood, California, where her acting career developed. Known as the Queen of the B-movies, she accumulated over 100 films to her credit, with 161 known acting credits listed on The Movie Database. Additionally, she was selected as Pet of the Month in June 1991 and later named Penthouse Pet of the Year in 1993.

Because of this prolific output, she came to be known as the Queen of the B-movies.
