Scott Marlowe, born Ronald Richard DeLeo, was an American actor who worked in film, stage, and television. Born in Newark, New Jersey, on June 24, 1932, he was the son of Emil and Constance Severini DeLeo. His siblings included a half-sister, Claudia, and half-brothers Dean and Robert. Marlowe made his television debut on June 8, 1951, in the Pulitzer Prize Playhouse episode titled Hostage. His first feature film role appeared in the 1954 production of Attila. He later starred as John Goodwin in a General Electric episode titled In Summer Promise and appeared in the 1958 film The Cool and the Crazy. He also appeared in Thriller, Law of the Plainsman, and Mission: Impossible. Marlowe died on January 6, 2001.
