Biography
Samuel George Claflin is an English actor born on June 27, 1986, in Ipswich, England. After graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2009, he began his career in television. His first film role was Philip Swift in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in 2011. Claflin gained wider recognition for his portrayal of Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games film series between 2013 and 2015 and starred in the romantic comedy Me Before You in 2016. His later work includes the role of Oswald Mosley in Peaky Blinders, Mycroft Holmes in Enola Holmes, and Billy Dunne in the 2023 series Daisy Jones and the Six.
