Biography
Salman Khan, born Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan on December 27, 1965, is an Indian film actor, producer, and television personality primarily working in Hindi cinema. He began his acting career with a minor role in Biwi Ho To Aisi (1988) and achieved early success with Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), for which he won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Known for his commercial appeal, Khan has starred in over eighty Hindi films, including Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), and Judwaa (1997). He has appeared in the highest-earning films of multiple years and is recognized as one of Bollywood's most successful actors since the 1990s. His accolades include two National Film Awards as a producer and two Filmfare Awards as an actor.
