Rula Lenska is an English-Polish actress born Róża Maria Leopoldyna Łubieńska on September 30, 1947, in St. Neots, Huntingdonshire, Cambridgeshire, England. She is known primarily for her work in British stage and television productions, alongside a series of commercials for Alberto VO5 hairspray in the United States during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Lenska comes from a family belonging to the Polish nobility and bearers of the Pomian coat of arms, whose relatives once owned a castle and estate in Kazimierza Wielka, Poland. Her father was Major Count Ludwik Łubieński, who served as personal secretary to Józef Beck, Minister for Foreign Affairs in Poland prior to the Nazi occupation.
