Regis John Cordic was an American radio personality and actor, also known and credited as Rege Cordic. He was born on May 15, 1926, in the Hazelwood neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and died on April 16, 1999, at the age of seventy-two in Los Angeles, California. Cordic attended Central Catholic High School and began his radio career as a staff announcer and substitute sportscaster at WWSW-AM. When morning host Davey Tyson left in 1948, Cordic replaced him and eventually introduced comedy to the program, developing a supporting repertory of comic characters. The renamed morning show, Cordic and Company, became the most popular in Pittsburgh. Throughout his career, Cordic amassed sixty-seven known acting credits, including an appearance in the 1977 production The Man with the Power.

Over the course of his career, Cordic amassed sixty-seven known acting credits, and he was also known and credited as Rege Cordic. His acting work included a role in the 1977 production titled The Man with the Power, featuring a cast that included Tim O'Connor, Vic Morrow, Persis Khambatta, Bob Neill, Austin Stoker, John de Lancie, Jason Wingreen, Roger Perry, Bill Fletcher, René Assa, and Noel De Souza. Cordic passed away on April 16, 1999, at the age of seventy-two in Los Angeles, California.
