Peter Cushing was an English actor. He was born on May 26, 1913, in Kenley, Surrey, England, UK. Cushing is known for his many appearances in Hammer Films. He also appeared in films based on the television series Doctor Who, specifically "Doctor Who and the Daleks" and "Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150 AD". Additionally, he played roles in the Star Wars film, including Grand Moff Tarkin, in 1977. Cushing's acting credits include numerous films and television shows, with a total of 151 known credits. He passed away on August 11, 1994, at the age of 81.
