Biography

Ola Rapace is a Swedish actor, born on 3 December 1971 in Tyresö, Sweden. He grew up in the suburbs of Stockholm, raised by his father after his parents divorced when he was one year old. Rapace studied philosophy at the University of Montpellier in France. His acting career began with a role in the Swedish comedy-drama Tillsammans in 2000. He then appeared in Swedish television series, including Tusenbröder and Wallander. Rapace gained wider recognition for his portrayal of a minor villain in the 2012 film Skyfall. He was married to Noomi Rapace from 2001 to 2011, with whom he has a son, Lev. In 2019, he married Sonja Jawo, and they reside in Paris, France.
