Nastassja Aglaia Kinski is a German actress and former model born on January 24, 1961, in Berlin, Germany. She is the daughter of German actor Klaus Kinski. Her worldwide breakthrough occurred with Stay as You Are in 1978, followed by global prominence in the Roman Polanski-directed film Tess in 1979. Over her career, she has appeared in more than sixty films across Europe and the United States, with known credits totaling one hundred. Her film work includes the Francis Ford Coppola musical romance One from the Heart in 1982, the Paul Schrader erotic horror film Cat People in 1982, and the Wim Wenders drama films Paris, Texas in 1984 and Faraway, So Close! in 1993.
