Thomas Morgan Woodward was an American actor who lived from September 16, 1925, until February 22, 2019. He is recognized for his recurring role as Marvin Punk Anderson on the television soap opera Dallas and for his performance as Boss Godfrey, the man with no eyes, in the 1967 film Cool Hand Luke. Woodward was a frequent guest star on western television programs. He appeared on the series Gunsmoke as 16 different characters across 19 episodes, marking the most appearances by any actor on that show. Additionally, he held a recurring role on the series The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp. His career was defined by these notable contributions to film and television.
