Biography

Monica Chan Fat-yung is a Hong Kong actress who gained initial recognition as the winner of the 1989 Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant. Following her victory, she signed with the television network TVB. She subsequently placed as the first runner-up in the 1989 Miss Chinese International pageant and finished in 23rd place at the 1990 Miss Universe competition. After a decade with TVB, she transitioned to the network ATV. In recent years, Chan has become less active in the entertainment industry. While she occasionally appears as a spokesperson for various products and attends award ceremonies, she has not been featured in any Hong Kong dramas or motion pictures for several years.
