It serves as a remake of the 1942 Argentine film La mentirosa. The story follows Nina, an imaginative liar who works as a secretary for the lawyer Mr. Mendoza. Through her employment, Nina gains access to the will of a deceased old millionaire who named the daughter of a youthful love affair as his sole beneficiary. Only the millionaire's sister, the widow of Martiarena, knows the identity and location of the true heir. Nina decides to impersonate the daughter and is surprisingly recognized as the real daughter by the sister. Following this, the housekeeper and the doctor of Mrs. Martiarena decide to resolve the situation.
