Mark Blum was an American actor born on May 14, 1950, who worked in film, television, and theater. He achieved recognition with his lead role as Gary Glass in the 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan, followed by a supporting role as Richard Mason in Crocodile Dundee in 1986. From 2014 to 2018, he had a recurring role as Union Bob on the Amazon Prime series Mozart in the Jungle. Blum was married to actress Janet Zarish from 2005 until his death on March 26, 2020, from COVID-19.
