Marcin Grzegorz Dorociński (Polish: [ˈmart͡ɕin dɔrɔˈt͡ɕiɲskʲi]; born 22 June 1973) is a Polish film, television and stage actor. He was born in Milanówek, Poland, and raised in the village of Kłudzienko. His father worked as a blacksmith, his mother as a housewife, and he has three brothers who are police officers. Dorociński originally aspired to a career in professional football before turning to acting. He has appeared in more than ninety credited productions, including the films Pitbull (2005), Reverse (2009), Rose (2011), Jack Strong (2014), Hurricane (2018) and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023). On television he is known for roles in the internationally produced series Spies of Warsaw (2013) and The Queen’s Gambit (2020).
