Lenny Venito is an American actor born on May 10, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York. His film appearances include Gigli, Men in Black II, and War of the Worlds. In television, he has been featured in The Sopranos beginning in 2006 as the character nicknamed Murmur, whose actions on the show included helping shake down actor Ben Kingsley, who played himself, and mugging actress Lauren Bacall, also playing herself. Venito additionally appeared as an incompetent mugger named John in two episodes, titled Mugged and Wingmen, of the HBO series Flight of the Conchords.
