Lauren Lee Smith is a Canadian actress and producer born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on June 19, 1980. She became a model at the age of thirteen and launched her acting career in her youth, accumulating known credits in movies and television shows. Her first film appearance was in the 2000 film Get Carter, which starred Sylvester Stallone in the lead role. In 2015, she joined the cast of the CBC drama series This Life, portraying Maggie, the sister of the main character who is battling stage four cancer.
